NEW BERN, N.C. (WITN) – A natural gas leak has shut down a street in downtown New Bern this afternoon.
The city says the 400 block of Pollock Street, between Middle and Hancock, is shut down to all traffic because of the leak.
The leak is under the sidewalk in front of the Civic Theater.
Piedmont Natural Gas crews are at the location and the city expects the street to be closed for a couple of hours.
