NEW BERN, N.C. (WITN) – New Bern Police are investigating an early Sunday morning shooting that injured one man.
Officials say around 1:30 a.m., police responded to the area of 28 Cramer Street following a ShotSpotter alert.
Police say they located a 31-year-old New Bern man suffering from a gunshot wound. He was transported to CarolinaEast Medical Center, where he is currently receiving treatment.
According to officials, as of this morning, no official update on his condition is available.
