Blackstone hires UBS veteran Maellare to lead wealth in Europe
The former UBS banker left in June amid a shake up of its sponsor coverage
The former co-head of UBS’s financial sponsors unit has re-emerged in a senior role at private equity giant Blackstone.
Simona Maellare, who was most recently co-head of UBS’s alternative capital group, has joined Blackstone to as head of private wealth for Europe, the Middle East and Africa, it said in a statement.
