On March 18, 2026, at approximately 1:00 A.M. the Craven County Sheriff’s Office Criminal Patrol Bureau responded to Hopewell Court New Bern, N.C. in reference to a robbery that occurred at the wildlife landing at the end of West Craven Middle School Road in New Bern, N.C.

The victim stated he was meeting a female acquaintance. While inside a vehicle with said female, an unidentified male opened the door and physically assaulted the victim. Personal property was forcibly removed from the victim’s possession before the suspects fled.

An investigation by the Criminal Investigation Bureau identified Isabella Amari Raynor, 19, of Ginger Drive New Bern, N.C. and Rhynell Marquez Whitehead, 21, of Sea Knight Lane Havelock, N.C. as the perpetrators of the robbery.

Evidence gathered during the investigation indicates that Isabella Raynor was communicating on social media with Kahlil Chy’Heim Green, 18, of Hopewell Court New Bern, N.C. to facilitate the purchase of approximately three ounces of marijuana. During the encounter, the parties allegedly negotiated a reduced price for the narcotics in exchange for a sexual act.

In the commission of the sexual act, a second suspect, Rhynell Whitehead, emerged from concealment. Whitehead proceeded to physically assault Kahlil Green, facilitating a coordinated robbery in conjunction with Isabella Raynor. Both suspects then fled the scene with the victim’s property.

On March 20, 2026, Raynor & Rhynell were arrested and charged with felony common law robbery, felony larceny from a person, felony conspiracy, false imprisonment, interfering with emergency communication, and simple assault.

Isabella Raynor was additionally charged with felony possession with intent to sell & deliver marijuana & prostitution after a search warrant was executed at her residence.

On March 22, 2026, Kahlil Green was arrested and charged with felony sell & deliver scheduled VI-controlled substance and solicitation of prostitution.

During Green’s arrest, he attempted to conceal marijuana on his body and was additionally charged with possession of marijuana up to ½ ounce, possession of drug paraphernalia, and resisting a public officer.

Raynor, Whitehead, & Green are being held in the Craven County Confinement Facility.
