GENEVA OH-  An early offensive burst for Jefferson allowed the Falcons to secure their second win in as many nights over Geneva, this time notching a 7-4 victory on the road.

The Falcons started off red-hot in the top of the first, with RBI doubles from Mason Kalil and Logan Padgett highlighting a 4-run 1st for Jefferson. The Falcons would tally another run in the 2nd as Joey Sands would score on a passed ball.

RBI doubles from Ryland Besco and Nick Kustala would get the Eagles on the board and give them some momentum, but it would not be enough as the Falcons created too much of a gap for Geneva to make up for late.

Tate Hudson and Lucas Uden were lights-out on the mound for the Falcons, with Hudson working 5 innings as the starter and tallying 10 strikeouts before Uden would enter and not allow a single hit through the final two innings, sealing the win for Jefferson.

Jefferson (6-0) remains undefeated on the season while Geneva (0-3) still looks to get into the win column, as both sides will square one last time in Game 3 of the season set on Friday afternoon, the Falcons looking to go 3-for-3 against the Eagles.
