Hartford, Ala. (WDNews) — A Florida man has died following a horse-related accident in Geneva County, according to Geneva County Coroner Donny Adkinson.
Jimmy Wayne Owen, 79, of Westville, Florida, died as a result of injuries sustained in the incident. Officials say the accident occurred off Highnote Road in the Hartford area.
Emergency responders from Hartford EMS and Slocomb EMS, along with the Geneva County Sheriff’s Department and the Geneva County Coroner’s Office, responded to the scene.
No further details have been released at this time.
