A Geneva man is facing misdemeanor charges after police say he made threats against officers during a series of phone calls earlier this week.

City of Geneva police arrested 30-year-old Javon L. Jackson on April 15 following an investigation into calls made the previous day.

According to police, Jackson allegedly contacted the department on two separate occasions on April 14 and threatened to cause physical harm to all members of the Geneva Police Department.

He was charged with two counts of aggravated harassment in the second degree, a class A misdemeanor.

Jackson was processed at the Geneva Police Department and transported to the Ontario County Jail for arraignment. Authorities said he was released without bail and is scheduled to appear in Geneva City Court at a later date.
