New Bern Police have charged 28 year old Stefan Ajay Romeo of Fort Totten Dr with three counts of Felony Exploitation of a Minor after executing a search warrant early Friday morning.
According to charging documents Romeo is alleged to have transmitted sexually graphic videos showing children being sexually assaulted. Romeo is alleged to have transmitted three videos one with a Child under the age of 3, on with a child under the age of 5, and another with a child under the age of 10.

The investigation was conducted by detectives assigned to the Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force and was initiated following a complaint received by law enforcement.
Romeo was placed in the Craven County Jail but was later released on a $120,000 bond.
