ABB Robotics’ Flexley Mover P603 autonomous mobile robot (AMR) received the iF Design Award 2026 in the Industry, Tools and Machinery Product Design category. The recognition cites the system’s compact design, navigation approach and use in intralogistics applications.

The P603 was selected for combining mechanical design, software and autonomous operation in a single mobile platform. Its navigation system uses ABB Robotics’ Visual SLAM technology to move without fixed infrastructure, which can reduce commissioning time by up to 20% compared with other navigation systems and simplify deployment.

Its compact footprint allows operation in space-constrained environments, while integrated load sensing supports the handling of loads up to 1500 kg. These features allow manufacturers to use the system for material transport while adapting layouts and workflows as production needs change.

Introduced in 2025, the Flexley Mover P603 is intended to support output and material flow while reducing setup time and infrastructure needs. Its installation process and ability to operate in dynamic environments make it suitable for facilities updating operations with limited changes to existing infrastructure.
