NEW WILMINGTON – The Westminster softball team secured a spot in the championship series of the Presidents’ Athletic Conference (PAC) Championship Tournament with a 6-3 victory over Geneva Saturday afternoon.

Westminster, the six-team tournament’s top seed, ran its record to 29-9 with the win. Geneva, the No. 2 seed, fell to 33-9 with the loss. Geneva will take on No. 3 Bethany, a 2-1 winner over No. 4 Hiram in an elimination game Saturday evening, on Monday at 11 a.m. The winner will face Westminster at 1 p.m.
