The 39th Chubb Classic at Tiburon is set to tee off next weekend, with some incredible faces having taken part in the event over the years as part of the PGA Champions Tour. Along with all of these familiar faces, there is a volunteer who has been there every step of the way.Nancy Jackson has worked all 38 of these events, and she will be back to work for year 39.She’s seen some of the greats walk the greens of Southwest Florida, and she’s left a lasting impact on each person she’s interacted with over the years. Jackson said, “I’ve been a walking marshall a couple of times. I walked with Lee Trevino and Arnold Palmer. That was a highlight of one of my years.”Chubb Classic Executive Director Sandy Diamond said, “Nancy is the best and a very special person. We’re so grateful for her and all that she does for the tournament, as well as the other 600-plus volunteers; we could not put the event on without them.
