GENEVA COUNTY, Ala. (WTVY) – A Florida woman has died following a crash in Geneva County.
According to county coroner Donny Adkinson, Ruth Lynn Brown, 82 of Bonifay, succumbed to her injuries following the single-vehicle accident, with her vehicle leaving the roadway and hitting a tree.
The crash happened at around 1:30 p.m. on Thursday along County Road 4 in the Fadette community.
Along with the Geneva County Coroner’s Office, several agencies responded to the crash scene, including Slocomb Police Department, Slocomb EMS and Geneva County EMA.
The Alabama Law Enforcement Agency (ALEA), who also responded to the scene, are handling the investigation into this crash.
