Geneva County, Ala. — A Florida woman was killed Thursday afternoon in a single-vehicle crash in Geneva County.
According to the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency, the crash happened around 1:26 p.m. on Geneva County Road 4 near Alabama 103, about seven miles south of Slocomb.
Troopers said Ruth L. Brown, 82, of Bonifay, was driving a 2013 Cadillac XRS when the vehicle left the roadway, struck two trees and overturned.
Brown was pronounced dead at the scene according to the release.
The crash remains under investigation by ALEA’s Highway Patrol Division.
