
DOTHAN, Ala (WDHN) — A Bonifay, Florida, woman is dead after a single-vehicle crash in southern Geneva County Thursday afternoon.
Geneva County Coroner Donny Adkinson identified the victim as Ruth Lynn Brown, 82.
Coroner Adkinson tells WDHN that Brown was driving along County Road 4 in the Fadette community when her vehicle left the road, hit a tree, and overturned.

Brown was the only person in the vehicle at the time of the crash.
The crash occurred around 1:30 p.m.
The Alabama Law Enforcement Agency is investigating the crash.
ALEA Troopers, Slocomb EMS, Slocomb Police Department, Geneva County Emergency Management Agency, and the Geneva County Coroner’s Office all responded to the scene.
