GREENVILLE, N.C. (WNCT) — Former FBI Director James Comey’s court appearance in Greenville has been cancelled, but he will be arraigned in New Bern on June 30th.
Judge Louise Flanagan scheduled Comey to stand trial on July 15 in New Bern, if he pleads not guilty.
Comey has been indicted on charges of making threats against the President, stemming from a social media post of “86 47” on a North Carolina beach. Comey has denied any wrongdoing.
On May 8, the judge signed off on his request to waive the hearing scheduled for today.
