DOTHAN, Ala (WDHN) — A Geneva woman is dead after a crash in Dale County Sunday night.
Troopers with the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency identified the victim as Linda White, 66.
Troopers say White was a passenger in a 2007 Jeep Commander and the vehicle left the road and hit a utility pole at the intersection of intersection of County Road 1 and Alabama 92, around seven miles south of Enterprise in Dale County.
White was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash, according to ALEA. She was transported to Medical Center Enterprise, where she was later pronounced dead by Dale County Coroner John Cawley.
The driver of the Jeep, a 38-year-old man, was injured and transported to Enterprise Medical Center for treatment.
The crash is under investigation by the ALEA Highway Patrol Division.
