Meghan Markle is facing fresh backlash from conservative commentator Megyn Kelly over the size of the crowd she pulled at a conference in Geneva.
The Duchess of Sussex recently went to Switzerland to deliver a speech at the unveiling of the Lost Screen Memorial, a campaign spotlighting the dangers of online harm and digital violence impacting children.
During a new episode of “The Megyn Kelly Show,” Kelly ripped into the noticeably small number of audience members who showed up for Meghan’s speech.

Showing her audience clips from the conference, Kelly mocked, “[Meghan] must be taken seriously. She’s humanitarian. She started the Archwell Foundation, which already closed. She flies all the way over there, and would you take a look at the crowd that showed up or didn’t… literally nobody is on the side.”
Commenting on Meghan’s gradually declining cultural relevance, Kelly further added, “No one is listening to her. We have video of a woman behind her who basically is like putting the jacket on… yawning, stretching. This is the crowd…It’s the public’s verdict on, we don’t give a s*** about you.”
Kelly also took a jab at Meghan for posting a photo of her and her daughter, Lilibet, taken before she left for the conference. Kelly called the duchess out for her “hypocrisy” and “narcissism,” pointing to her social media activity before traveling across the world to “give some speech about the dangers of social media.”
“A picture of herself surrounded by designer clothing and Lilibet down at her feet, staring up at her mother… ‘It’s just me, it’s me admiring me as my daughter admires me in my closet of designer clothes. This is how I want you to understand how relatable I am,’” Kelly said, mocking the duchess.
However, Kelly wasn’t the only one offended by Meghan’s Instagram post. Royal expert Tom Sykes was just as annoyed.
Addressing the issue on his Substack page, Skyes wrote, “A woman who is about to stand alongside the world’s most senior public health official and talk about the measurable and preventable harms of exposing children to social media has just — voluntarily, for no apparent reason other than self-promotion — exposed her own child to social media.”
