Fribourg Olympic are once again Swiss basketball champions, beating the Geneva Lions 86-66 to win their 23rd national title yesterday.
Geneva, missing two key players, kept pace until half-time before fading in the third quarter.
The victory in game four of the final avenges last year’s defeat to the same Geneva side. It completes a remarkable treble for the Fribourg club, after wins in the Swiss Cup and the League Cup.
