SAMSON, Ala. (WTVY) -A Samson man died early Saturday after the motorcycle he was driving left the roadway and crashed, Geneva County Coroner Donnie Atkinson said.
The crash happened shortly after 7 a.m. on Geneva County Highway 40 near Samson, Atkinson said. He identified the victim as 27-year-old Major Lee Miller.
“According to preliminary information, the motorcycle left the roadway while negotiating a curve,” Atkinson said in a statement.
Atkinson referred additional questions to Alabama State Troopers who is the lead investigatory agency. He also thanked Samson police and EMS and the Geneva County Sheriff’s Office for assisting with the investigation.
