Pharmaceuticals: Key focus areas in this segment are Oncology, Immunology, Inflammation, Metabolism and Neuroscience. The segment accounted for 77.5% of total sales in 2025. Key drugs include Phesgo (breast cancer), Xolair (food allergies), Ocrevus (multiple sclerosis or MS), Hemlibra (hemophilia A) and Vabysmo (severe eye diseases).
Diagnostics: The Diagnostics Division operates under four segments — Core Lab, Molecular Lab, Pathology Lab and Near Patient Care (include sales from Diabetes Care and the Point of Care business). The segment accounted for 22.5% of total sales in 2025.
Roche has pursued targeted acquisitions and deals to broaden its pipeline across oncology, immunology and metabolic diseases. In 2023, the company acquired Telavant, securing rights to the TL1A antibody RVT-3101 for inflammatory bowel disease.
In January 2024, Roche acquired Carmot Therapeutics, adding three clinical-stage candidates with potential in obesity (CT-388, CT-996) and diabetes (CT-868). It also acquired Poseida Therapeutics in a cash deal plus contingent value rights tied to future milestones, and entered into an exclusive obesity collaboration with Zealand Pharma.
Most recently, Roche acquired 89bio Inc. for $3.5 billion to strengthen its presence in cardiovascular, renal and metabolic diseases.
Sales for 2025 totaled CHF 61.5 billion, up 2% from 2024. Pharmaceuticals sales grew 3% to CHF 47.7 billion. Ocrevus was the top-most revenue generator with sales of CHF 7 billion in 2025. Hemlibra sales amounted to CHF 4.7 billion. Vabysmo raked in sales of CHF 4.1 billion. Diagnostics sales decreased 3% to CHF 13.8 billion.
