Nestlé USA says it has completely removed food dyes from its food and drink products, meeting its goal to do so by mid-2026.

In a press release, the company said it removed or replaced the artificial dyes in affected products while maintaining the taste, quality, and experience consumers expect. Updated products are already reaching store shelves, and shoppers can check ingredient labels for details.

Nestlé says the move is part of its broader effort to simplify recipes, increase ingredient transparency and adapt to changing consumer preferences.

“Consumers expect more choice, more transparency, and products they can feel good about,” Nestlé USA CEO Marty Thompson said in a statement.
