The Denver Broncos are one of a handful of Super Bowl contenders coming out of the AFC. They’ve already made an all-in move by trading a first-round pick, plus a third and fourth-round selection in exchange for Jaylen Waddle.
But the Broncos may not be done adding to the roster. Now they could tap into one of their coaching connections to bring in more talent.

Broncos Considering Signing Taysom Hill

One player who’s been available all offseason long is Taysom Hill. Yet, there had been a belief that he may return to the New Orleans Saints, the only NFL team he’s ever known.
However, Hill recently released a heartwarming social media post indicating that he won’t be joining the Saints for his 10th season. He is still open to playing another NFL season, and the Broncos could be the best fit.
Hill is now 35 years old. He’s never won a Super Bowl, and chances are, the Saints wouldn’t provide him with that opportunity this season either. But it’s a different story in Denver, where his former head coach Sean Payton leads the way.
Recently, coach Payton told NFL Network’s Steve Wyche that the Broncos will “explore bringing in free agent tight end Taysom Hill.”
Calling him a tight end is interesting in itself. Hill has been known to play a multitude of positions in the NFL, from quarterback to running back/fullback, receiver/tight end, while contributing on special teams.
The thing is, the Broncos are already stacked at the tight end position with Adam Trautman, Evan Engram, fifth-round rookie Justin Joly, and seventh-round rookie Dallen Bentley. Do they still have room for Hill?
Considering Hill is a player who is capable of filling multiple roles, it’s almost like filling several roster spots with just one player. Yet, whether the Broncos will be able to carve out a role for one of Payton’s old friends remains to be seen; first, they’d have to sign him.
