Dualitybio’s ADC efforts draw Roche in potential $1B deal

Dualitybio Inc. is getting $45 million up front in a deal with Roche AG’s Genentech unit that could exceed $1 billion upon successful development of next-generation antibody-drug conjugate (ADC) candidates. The collaboration and license agreement centers on the DUPAC, or DualityBio Unique Payload Antibody Conjugate, platform, designed to overcome resistance to older topoisomerase inhibitors-based ADCs.
