While still flying under the shadow of the giant that is Watches and Wonders, Geneva Watch Days has steadily grown into a major event on the watch calendar over the past few years, and this year it’s bigger than ever. It’s the perfect moment to geek out on fresh new releases just as summer fades.
This more intimate horological get together delivers an Insta-worthy flood of new launches. With 66 brands (as opposed to 52 last year) including TAG Heuer and Bvlgari showcasing everything from surprise hits to instant grail-worthy timepieces, there’s no shortage of watch inspo coming out of the watch capital of the world this week.
“The release that has grabbed my attention (and heart) this week is the Dennison ALD Dual Time,” says watch collector Andy Freedman. “I’m a sucker for vintage, and the blend of ’70s aesthetic and two time zone functionality in these new pieces is hard to beat.”

Urwerk
Urwerk has done it again. It turned up the sting with the UR-150 Blue Scorpion, a kinetic beast that blends chaos and control. Beneath a stretched sapphire dome, hour satellites (yep) orbit on a flying carousel while a retrograde hand snaps back at lightning speed. It’s mechanical wizardry, equal parts sci-fi and haute horlogerie. This watch doesn’t just tell time, it performs it.
