NEW BERN, N.C. (WITN) – New Bern officers say no foul play is suspected as they investigate a man found dead at a gas station.
Around 6 p.m. today, police and CarolinaEast EMS were called to a report of an unresponsive person at the BP gas station at 1200 South Glenburnie Road.
Once there, officers found a 40-year-old man in the facility’s restroom, who was pronounced dead at the scene.
According to police, there are currently no signs of apparent foul play or threat to the public.
As of now, the New Bern Police Department says it is withholding the man’s name.
