NEW BERN, N.C. (WITN) – An ‘udderly’ in love couple decided the perfect place to say “I do” was the place where their love story began.
Last Thursday, 19-year-old Reagan Baker and 18-year-old Isaiah McKinley didn’t just exchange ice cream, but vows at the Cow Cafe in New Bern.
The ice cream shop isn’t just any dessert destination for the couple, but it’s where the two met and had their first date one year ago.
“Our first date was at the Cow Cafe. It’s always been a special place in our hearts. He used to come here with his grandmother when he was little,” said Baker.
For the pair, the Cow Cafe was the only place that made sense.
“We were like, ‘Oh yeah, we got married at the Cow Cafe,’ and people are like, ‘What?’ said McKinley. “You wouldn’t think to get married at an ice cream parlor.”
This marks the cafe’s first-ever wedding ceremony, making the couple’s wedding day even more special.
