Domenica Cobo’s JuntasXEllas addressed barriers faced by young Ecuadorian women amid security challenges, stressing that global initiatives are vital to ensure “no one is left behind.”
The insights shared by grantees resonate deeply with the UNESCO Social and Human Sciences Sector’s core mission: to amplify youth agency as a transformative force for sustainability and social justice. By fostering intergenerational collaboration, bridging resource gaps, and integrating diverse youth perspectives into global agendas, the Sector actively champions youth leadership in driving climate action and social transformation, ensuring that youth voices contribute to progress and that no community is left behind.
