Abbas Araghchi, Iran’s Foreign Minister, has departed Tehran at the head of a diplomatic delegation for Geneva to participate in the second round of nuclear negotiations with the United States.

Mehr News Agency reported on Sunday, February 15, that the talks between Iran and the U.S. are scheduled for Tuesday, under the mediation of the Sultanate of Oman.

During his visit, Araghchi is expected to meet with the Swiss Foreign Minister, the Omani Foreign Minister, the Director General of the International Atomic Energy Agency, and several other international officials based in Switzerland.

Swiss authorities have stated that the country is prepared to facilitate dialogue between Iran and the U.S. at any time.

The previous round of negotiations concluded last Friday in Muscat, the capital of Oman.
