Iran\u2019s Foreign Minister, Abbas Araghchi, affirmed Tehran\u2019s commitment to pursuing result-oriented diplomacy to protect what it describes as the legitimate interests and rights of the Iranian people and to help maintain peace and stability in the Middle East.<\/p>\n
Araghchi made the remarks on February 16 in Geneva during a meeting with his Omani counterpart, Badr bin Hamad Al Busaidi, on the eve of Oman-mediated talks between the United States and Iran scheduled for February 17, Caliber.Az <\/a>reports per Iranian media<\/a>.\u00a0<\/p>\n In the bilateral meeting, Iranian officials outlined Tehran\u2019s positions on nuclear issues and the lifting of what Iran calls oppressive US sanctions.
