A plane carrying the US President\u2019s special envoy, Steve Witkoff, landed at Geneva Airport, Switzerland, ahead of Russia\u2013Ukraine settlement talks.<\/p>\n
The Bombardier Global 7500 business jet touched down at 10:55\u202fBaku time, Caliber.Az<\/a> reports via Russian media<\/a>.<\/p>\n Earlier, US Secretary of State Marco\u202fRubio noted that Witkoff and President Donald\u202fTrump\u2019s son-in-law, Jared\u202fKushner, are expected to participate in the Geneva talks.<\/p>\n The Russian delegation, led by Presidential aide Vladimir Medinsky, previously flew to Geneva for talks. The nine-hour journey avoided unfriendly countries, with Italy granting airspace access to reach Switzerland.<\/p>\n On February 17\u201318, Geneva will host trilateral talks on resolving the Ukraine conflict with delegations from Russia, Ukraine, and the US.
