Cox\/Getty Images<\/p>\n<p>Argentina won the game 3-1 after extra-time, and Breel Embolo\u2019s red card proved highly decisive for the Swiss team. <\/p>\n<p>After the game, Ndoye\u2019s performance was spotted by a number of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nottinghamforest.news\/tag\/nottingham-forest\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Forest<\/a> fans, and it\u2019s fair to say that the national media were also happy with his showing. <\/p>\n<p>          \ud83e\udd14Does Dan Ndoye deserve another chance under Oliver Glasner? <\/p>\n<p class=\"grv-talking-point__subtitle\">Let us know your thoughts on the Swiss perfomer!<\/p>\n<p>     <img decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"682\" loading=\"lazy\"  src=\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/ch\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/07\/GettyImages-2284560810-1024x682.jpg\" alt=\"Dan Ndoye celebrates beating Colombia\" class=\"wp-image-102337\" \/>Photo by Ercin Erturk\/Anadolu via Getty Images       <\/p>\n<p>The forward bagged his first goal at the World Cup with a well-taken effort which took the game into extra-time. <\/p>\n<p>Ndoye is extremely important for the national team, and 20 Minuten rated him as a 5\/6 for this performance, which they believe was of the highest order. <\/p>\n<p>They wrote: \u201cInitially, often unlucky in one-on-one situations, Ndoye was as tough as a well-done Argentinean steak and persevered.
