Aon plc has launched a new application programming interface<\/a> (API) integration with Swiss Re Corporate Solutions to create end-to-end digital connectivity across the commercial insurance placement lifecycle. Powered by Aon Broker Copilot, the integration is designed to streamline the submission, quoting, and binding of complex risks while improving speed and operational efficiency.<\/p>\n

According to Aon, Swiss Re Corporate Solutions is the first carrier to integrate directly with Aon Broker Copilot via an API.<\/p>\n

API Integration Connects Placement Workflows<\/p>\n

The new integration enables risk data to move directly between Aon Broker Copilot and Swiss Re Corporate Solutions\u2019 underwriting application. As a result, both organizations aim to reduce manual processes and improve the flow of information throughout the placement process.<\/p>\n

Clyde Bernstein, global lead of Aon Broker Copilot, said the initiative supports Aon\u2019s efforts to connect risk with capital through digital innovation.<\/p>\n

He said the direct connection allows risk data to flow more seamlessly between the two companies, improving operational efficiency, lowering costs, enhancing accuracy, and accelerating insurer response times.<\/p>\n

Aon said its investment in API connectivity complements its broader data, analytics and technology initiatives. The company stated these efforts are intended to improve access to capital, support more efficient placement processes and deliver better client outcomes.<\/p>\n

In addition, Aon said carriers that integrate with the platform gain direct access to its distribution network while benefiting from structured risk submissions that improve underwriting performance and efficiency throughout the market cycle.<\/p>\n

Swiss Re Corporate Solutions Highlights Digitalization Efforts<\/p>\n

Swiss Re Corporate Solutions said the integration supports its strategy to make commercial insurance placements faster, simpler and more precise for clients and partners.<\/p>\n

Nina Arquint, CEO UK & Ireland at Swiss Re Corporate Solutions, said connecting the company\u2019s data platform with Aon Broker Copilot enables structured data to integrate directly into underwriting workflows. She said the approach reduces manual touchpoints while improving speed, transparency, and consistency throughout the placement process.<\/p>\n

Arquint added that the implementation represents an important milestone in the company\u2019s digitalization efforts and establishes a foundation for future scalability while enhancing the client experience.<\/p>\n

Part of Aon\u2019s Broader Technology Strategy<\/p>\n

Aon said the integration builds on its ongoing investment in digital capabilities and analytics. The company cited its 3\u00d73 Plan and its $1.3 billion investment in technology and talent as part of that strategy.<\/p>\n

According to Aon, technology solutions such as Aon Broker Copilot, Aon Claims Copilot, Risk Analyzers, and diagnostic tools are designed to embed analytics and insights into broking workflows. The company said these capabilities support more informed decision-making and more consistent execution throughout the risk lifecycle.<\/p>\n
