Kennedy International Airport (JFK), had pushed back normally from gate E46. The flight was being operated by an Airbus A330-300 with the registration HB-JHA.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">While taxying toward the runway, the flight crew was forced to halt the aircraft. Inside the cabin, a young passenger\u2014alleged to be under the influence of drugs or alcohol\u2014had become highly aggressive, creating a safety hazard for both the crew and fellow passengers.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Recognizing the escalating situation, the pilots immediately contacted Air Traffic Control (ATC). They requested that local police meet the aircraft so the disruptive individual could be removed.<\/p>\n<p>Return to a Different Gate<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Rather than returning to its original departure gate, the Airbus A330 taxied back to a different position at the terminal:<\/p>\n<p>Departure Gate: E46Arrival\/Return Gate: E52<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The aircraft remained parked at gate E52 while local police officers boarded the plane, successfully de-escalated the threat, and escorted the unruly passenger off the aircraft.<\/p>\n<p>Delay and Eventual Departure<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Once the passenger and their baggage were removed and the cabin was secured, flight LX14 was cleared again for departure.
