The Sensex ended about 100 points higher but was nearly 200 points below its day&#8217;s high, while the Nifty stayed above the 24,050 mark, extending its winning streak to a second consecutive session despite slipping around 80 points from its intraday peak.<br \/>\nMarket breadth remained weak as declines outnumbered advances, indicating broader market pressure. The India VIX fell around 3%, suggesting easing volatility. Broader markets underperformed the benchmarks, with both mid-cap and small-cap indices ending in the red.<br \/>\nAmong sectors, Nifty IT rebounded and snapped its two-day losing streak, supported by buying in technology stocks.
