{"id":104360,"date":"2026-07-16T20:51:12","date_gmt":"2026-07-16T20:51:12","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/ch\/104360\/"},"modified":"2026-07-16T20:51:12","modified_gmt":"2026-07-16T20:51:12","slug":"geneva-proposal-would-ban-riders-under-16-from-driving-e-bikes-scooters-and-atvs-on-public-roads","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/ch\/104360\/","title":{"rendered":"Geneva proposal would ban riders under 16 from driving e-bikes, scooters and ATVs on public roads"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">GENEVA, N.Y. \u2014 The City of Geneva is considering new regulations that would place tighter restrictions on electric scooters, e-bikes, skateboards, dirt bikes and all-terrain vehicles in response to growing safety concerns.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A proposal before the Geneva City Council would ban anyone under 16 years old from driving or riding those vehicles on public roads and other city-owned property.
