Spectra Systems (LSE:SPSY) has secured an expansion of its agreement with Swiss Post after the postal operator decided to roll out hybrid stamps featuring data matrix codes following a successful pilot programme. The new stamps are designed to improve security, traceability and customer interaction, reflecting a broader industry trend as postal operators increasingly adopt digital technologies to enhance postal services and combat fraud. <\/p>\n

Contract expansion increases revenue opportunity <\/p>\n

The wider deployment is expected to increase revenue from Spectra’s Swiss Post contract by approximately 40% over the initial five-year term. If the optional one-year extension is exercised, the total value of the agreement is expected to reach around $1.6 million. <\/p>\n
