Gen. Benedikt Roos.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p style=\"margin-bottom:11px\">\u201cThis is the anniversary of one strong year of friendship and collaboration between the state of Colorado and Switzerland,\u201d said Colorado Governor Jared Polis. \u201cOur National Guard members play such an important role in protecting our state at home and supporting our partners abroad. I\u2019m excited by our partnership and ability to support one another in strengthening key capabilities and security, as well as to build closer ties between Switzerland and Colorado.\u201d<\/p>\n<p style=\"margin-bottom:11px\">The U.S. Ambassador to Switzerland and Lichtenstein, Callista L. Gingrich, will also be in attendance.<\/p>\n<p style=\"margin-bottom:11px\">Switzerland and Colorado have in common not only geography and demographics but also cultural, economic, historical and technological bonds.\u00a0 Both states lie at the heart of continents and are centers for technology, trade, defense and finance.<\/p>\n<p style=\"margin-bottom:11px\">\u201cThe Colorado National Guard is proud to be partners with the Swiss Confederation,\u201d said The Adjutant General of Colorado U.S. Army Maj. Gen.
