Indosuez Shifts Advisory Leadership From Geneva to Singapore<\/p>\n

Indosuez Wealth Management is relocating a senior global advisory executive from Geneva to Singapore and has appointed a new head of discretionary portfolio management for Asia.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Indosuez Wealth Management<\/a> is strengthening its Asian franchise with a strategic relocation from Switzerland and a senior investment management hire in Singapore.<\/p>\n

The private banking arm of Cr\u00e9dit Agricole has announced that Muriel Aboud Schirmann<\/a>, currently Head of Advisory and Capital Markets in Switzerland, will relocate from Geneva to Singapore from August. The move effectively places the leadership of the bank\u2019s Advisory Solutions and Capital Markets activities closer to one of the world\u2019s fastest-growing wealth hubs.\u00a0<\/p>\n

According to the bank, the decision reflects the rapid expansion of wealth in Asia and increasing demand for sophisticated cross-border advisory services among high-net-worth and ultra-high-net-worth clients.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Strengthening investment capabilities<\/p>\n

Alongside the relocation, Indosuez has appointed Louis Shen as Head of Discretionary Portfolio Management (DPM) for Asia. He joins from Nomura, where he led the DPM business, and will be responsible for expanding the bank\u2019s discretionary investment offering across the region.\u00a0<\/p>\n

The appointment comes as wealthy Asian clients increasingly seek institutional-style portfolio construction, active risk management and access to private markets.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Laurent Prouti\u00e8re<\/a>, CEO Asia at Indosuez Wealth Management, described the moves as a significant milestone in the bank\u2019s regional ambitions, adding that clients would benefit from closer access to advisory expertise, discretionary solutions and private market opportunities.\u00a0<\/p>\n
