Trilateral closed-door talks between Russia, the United
\nStates, and Ukraine on a potential settlement to Russia-Ukraine war concluded
\nin Geneva after six hours, Russian state-affiliated media outlet TASS said on
\nTuesday.<\/p>\n
TASS cited a source who said the parties aimed to agree on
\ngeneral framework principles during this round, covering at least five tracks,
\nincluding territorial, military, political, economic, and security issues.<\/p>\n
Representatives from Italy, Germany, France, and the United
\nKingdom were also present in Geneva. Additionally, national security advisers
\nfrom those countries were expected to hold separate meetings with the Ukrainian
\nand US delegations on the sidelines of the talks.<\/p>\n
AFP reported that \u201ca source close to the Russian delegation\u201d
\ndescribed the latest round as \u201cvery tense,\u201d adding that negotiations are set to
\nresume on Wednesday. <\/p>\n
According to Kremlin spokesperson Dmitry Peskov, the
\ndelegations discussed complex issues requiring significant compromises. He
\nindicated that \u201cthe Geneva round covered more subjects than previous talks held
\nin Abu Dhabi, with all major issues, including territorial matters, placed on
\nthe agenda.\u201d<\/p>\n
