Cowdray Park Polo Club, UK \u2013 Standing Rock Polo Team capped off an impressive UK season by defeating Tamodi 12\u20137 in the final of the prestigious 18-Goal Challenge Cup at Cowdray Park Polo Club, led by Pierandrea M\u00fcller. Following an outstanding performance throughout the tournament, M\u00fcller was named Most Valuable Player (MVP) of the final.<\/p>\n
The victory also secured the 2026 18-Goal Victor Ludorum Championship for Standing Rock, confirming the team\u2019s consistency across the British medium-goal season.<\/p>\n
Earlier in the year, M\u00fcller had already cemented an unassailable lead in the 2026 8-Goal Victor Ludorum Championship before the season finale. On the same day as the 18-Goal final, Peer Polo narrowly missed out on another title, coming runners-up in the Holden White tournament final against White Crane, who won 5-4 in overtime.<\/p>\n
2026 has already been a milestone year for the 25-year-old Swiss player. Alongside two Victor Ludorum championships and three tournament victories in the UK, M\u00fcller\u2019s handicap has been increased from 3 to 4 Goals, in line with his Argentine rating.<\/p>\n
With this achievement, Pierandrea M\u00fcller has become the first Swiss polo player in history to attain a 4-Goal handicap.<\/p>\n
M\u00fcller first sat on a horse at the age of 15 and became hooked on polo from his very first lesson. He is currently studying Economics at the Universidad Cat\u00f3lica Argentina (UCA) in Buenos Aires while pursuing his passion for polo. His rapid progression, combined with stand-out performances in the UK and Argentina, has established him as one of Switzerland\u2019s most accomplished polo players.<\/p>\n
