(WITN) &#8211; A man was rescued from a car that went into the water near a New Bern park, police say. <\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">New Bern officials say crews were called to Union Point Park yesterday for a water rescue.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">A spokesperson for the city said a car went into the water at a boat ramp.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">One man was rescued, and he was not injured, according to officials. <\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">Police say the Craven County Sheriff\u2019s Office will be leading an investigation into what caused the car to go into the water. <\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">WITN has reached out to the sheriff\u2019s office for more information. <\/p>\n<p>Copyright 2026 WITN.
