Although the league season gets under way this Saturday, the involvement of Bar\u00e7a players in the latter stages of the World Cup means the champions have an extra week of preseason. And Flick\u2019s side have some busy days ahead.<\/p>\n<p>This Saturday, the blaugrana completed another training session at the Ciutat Esportiva, with all available first-team players taking part, and with Pedri out on the training pitch also following an individual programme in his first few days back in preseason.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Also involved in the session were Eder Aller, Xavi Espart, \u00c1lvaro Cort\u00e9s, Jodi Pesquer, Brian Fari\u00f1as, Ebrima Tunkara, Orian Goren and Hamza Abdelkarim.<\/p>\n<p>It was their final session before travelling to Basel, where they will play their <a href=\"https:\/\/www.fcbarcelona.com\/en\/matches\/140387\/basel-fc-barcelona-friendly-2026-2027\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">penultimate game<\/a> before the start of official competition on Sunday at 4.30pm CEST, live on Bar\u00e7a Play only in Spain.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>They will once again put themselves to the test.
