(WTVY) -A multi-agency drug investigation led to the arrest of five suspects and the seizure of more than a pound of illicit drugs and multiple firearms following raids at two Geneva residences, authorities announced Saturday.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">Investigators with the Geneva Police Department executed search warrants Friday and Saturday at homes on East Railroad Avenue in Geneva and East Weatherly Street in nearby Black. The operations were conducted alongside the Geneva County Sheriff\u2019s Office, Houston County Sheriff\u2019s Office, the Alabama Bureau of Pardons and Parole, and the State Bureau of Investigation.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">During the searches, officers say they seized over 1.2 pounds of marijuana, along with quantities of methamphetamine, oxycodone, THC gummies, kratom, illegal hemp products, and drug paraphernalia. Police also recovered multiple weapons, including a short-barreled shotgun and an altered firearm, per a Geneva police statement. <\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">Dexter Lane faces numerous charges, including unlawful distribution of a controlled substance, possession of oxycodone, first-degree marijuana possession, and possession of a firearm by a forbidden person. He is also charged with chemical endangerment of a child and is currently being held without bond due to an active felony probation violation, according to the statement. <\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">Jerry Hildreth Jr. was arrested on charges of methamphetamine possession, possession of a firearm by a forbidden person, possession of an altered firearm, and carrying a short-barreled shotgun. Ashley Nichole Acreman also faces a charge of chemical endangerment of a child, in addition to first-degree possession of marijuana.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">Dena Lane and Velma Lane were also booked into custody on drug-related charges.
