Shares of Urban Company<\/a> Ltd., the home convenience services provider, are trading nearly 6% higher on Friday, August 21, after global brokerage firm UBS initiated coverage on the stock with a ‘Buy’ rating and a price target of \u20b9180 per share.<\/p>\n

The target implies a potential upside of around 18% from the stock’s current levels.<\/p>\n

UBS said Urban Company is India’s largest online home services platform, with 8.4 million users, 59,000 service providers and a net transaction value (NTV) of \u20b94,300 crore in FY26.<\/p>\n

The brokerage expects NTV to grow at a 32% CAGR to around \u20b910,000 crore by FY29.<\/p>\n

UBS believes India’s online home services market is entering its “Blinkit moment”, with Urban Company at the forefront of this evolution, driven by its strong product-market fit, developed through multiple iterations, a strong balance sheet and a track record of execution with a clear focus on unit economics.<\/p>\n

The brokerage said Urban Company trades at around 40 times FY29 estimated EV\/adjusted EBITDA, excluding InstaHelp losses.<\/p>\n

UBS believes the market is not fully factoring in the acceleration in India’s home services market, driven by Urban Company’s growth flywheel and the potential for InstaHelp to reach breakeven earlier than the company’s target.Eight analysts currently cover Urban Company, of which three have a ‘Buy’ rating, two have a ‘Sell’ rating and three have a ‘Hold’ recommendation.<\/p>\n

Urban Company shares were trading 5.19% higher at \u20b9153.
