The announcement comes at a time when the African Championships silver medalist is enjoying a stellar season, which has seen her only lose four times throughout the whole year.<\/p>\n

Having announced herself to the world with gold at last year\u2019s World Championships in Tokyo, Odira has maintained her level on the bigger Diamond League stage this season, finishing third in Rabat in May, before claiming her maiden event win at the Prefontaine Classic in Eugene on 4 July.<\/p>\n

Despite getting outfoxed at the Commonwealth Games final, where she got her timing wrong to claim silver behind the aforementioned Bell, Odira will hope to stun a field that best mimics the one she faced at the Lausanne Diamond League on Friday, 21 August.<\/p>\n

In the Swiss city, the Kenyan will come up against both Werro and Broeders-Bol, who are freshly off medals at the recently-concluded European Championships, and finished ahead of seventh-placed Odira in Lausanne.<\/p>\n
