Azerbaijan\u2019s<br \/>\nlargest bank and the largest bank in the South Caucasus, ABB, is<br \/>\nentering the Uzbek market through a partnership and the acquisition<br \/>\nof a stake in Davr Bank, Azerbaijan\u2019s Minister of Economy Mikayil<br \/>\nJabbarov said at the fourth Uzbekistan-Azerbaijan Regional Forum in<br \/>\nTashkent, <a href=\"http:\/\/trend.az\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">Trend<\/a>&#8216;s<br \/>\nspecial correspondent reports.<\/p>\n<p>According to Jabbarov, virtually all of Azerbaijan\u2019s largest<br \/>\ntaxpayers are already represented in Uzbekistan. \u201cToday, an<br \/>\nagreement will be signed with Azerbaijan\u2019s largest bank and the<br \/>\nlargest bank in the entire South Caucasus \u2013 ABB. This marks the<br \/>\nbank\u2019s entry into the Uzbek market through a partnership and the<br \/>\nacquisition of a stake in Davr Bank,\u201d Jabbarov said.<\/p>\n<p>The minister expressed his gratitude to Uzbek President Shavkat<br \/>\nMirziyoyev, the regulator, the Central Bank and the Uzbek<br \/>\ngovernment for creating a favorable investment environment and<br \/>\nsupporting the implementation of the project. \u201cTaking this<br \/>\nopportunity, I would like to express my gratitude to Shavkat<br \/>\nMiromonovich, the regulator, the Central Bank and the government<br \/>\nfor creating an overall favorable investment environment and, in<br \/>\nparticular, for supporting the implementation of this project,\u201d<br \/>\nJabbarov said.<\/p>\n<p>The 4th Forum of Regions of Uzbekistan and Azerbaijan is<br \/>\ndedicated to expanding interregional economic cooperation and<br \/>\nimplementing joint investment and trade projects. Held in Tashkent,<br \/>\nthe forum aims to further develop direct ties between the regions<br \/>\nof the two countries, as well as expand cooperation in investment,<br \/>\nindustrial, and trade areas.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"TASHKENT, Uzbekistan, August 22.
