(WNCT) &#8212; A system pressure advisory is in effect in New Bern after a water main break along Country Club Road.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">City officials said the advisory is for consumers in Pembroke, Olde Towne, Hidden Harbour, Towne Woods, and along Country Club Road from Highway 70 to Batts Hill Road.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">The Division of Water Resources said they are advising consumers to boil water as periods of low or no pressure increases the potential for bacteria to be introduced into the water.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">Water Resource crews were dispatched in New Bern for a water main break on Tuesday.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">Crews were initially sent to the areas of Pembroke &amp; Olde Towne at 2:45 where customers were reporting low water pressure, according to the City of New Bern.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">City officials said the broken water main is near Country Club Road overpass at Highway 70.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">Water will be cut off in the area of Country Club Road for the time being in order to begin the repairs.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">Copyright 2026 Nexstar Media, Inc.
