(WITN) &#8211; Road work is scheduled to begin in New Bern tomorrow morning, affecting a downtown corridor.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">Crews will start a milling and repaving project along Hancock Street, spanning from Broad to Queen streets. <\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">Thursday\u2019s work will include milling and removing asphalt and is expected to last from 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">Friday morning, crews will begin repaving the roadway depending on the weather.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">One block will be closed at a time to allow through traffic. <\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">Drivers are asked to watch for traffic control and use caution when traveling through the area.<\/p>\n<p>Copyright 2026 WITN.
