{"id":122581,"date":"2026-08-30T05:59:36","date_gmt":"2026-08-30T05:59:36","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/ch\/122581\/"},"modified":"2026-08-30T05:59:36","modified_gmt":"2026-08-30T05:59:36","slug":"nestle-malaysia-collects-1-26-tonnes-of-waste-in-coastal-clean-up-programme-2","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/ch\/122581\/","title":{"rendered":"Nestl\u00e9 Malaysia collects 1.26 tonnes of waste in coastal clean-up programme"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>KUALA LUMPUR: Nestl\u00e9 Malaysia collected about 1.26 tonnes of waste from coastal sites nationwide this year as it expanded its long-running clean-up programme to include more community education and underwater conservation activities.<\/p>\n<p>In a statement, the group said almost 400 volunteers took part in the 2026 Coastal and Underwater Clean-Up initiative across Selangor, Kedah, Kelantan, Johor, Sabah and Pahang.<\/p>\n<p>The programme, which began as a beach clean-up initiative in 2019, now covers marine debris and ghost net removal, coral reef conservation and environmental education.
