A shooting at a rave in the northern Swiss canton of Aargau left one person dead and five wounded early on Sunday, local police and media reported. Police said they are looking for potentially more than one suspect.<\/p>\n
Aargau cantonal police wrote earlier on social media that a 22-year-old woman died of injuries at the scene in Aarau, the canton\u2019s capital. Four men and one woman, between 24 and 27 years old, were taken to hospital with injuries ranging from minor to severe.<\/p>\n
All of the victims are residents of Switzerland, police said. They did not release their names, in line with Swiss privacy rules.<\/p>\n
However, Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni identified the woman who was killed and two other victims as Italian citizens on Sunday evening.<\/p>\n
\u201cI express my deepest condolences for the death of Maria Spinelli, the young Italian woman who was a victim of the tragic shooting in Aarau, Switzerland,\u201d Meloni wrote on social media, identifying the dead woman by name.<\/p>\n
